Schools

There are over 80 schools in the Archdiocese of Wellington and Diocese of Palmerston North. Parents and caregivers who would like their child to attend one of these schools should initially approach the School/College Principal.

Parents/caregivers who choose a Catholic education for their child pay the owners of the school (Proprietors) an annual Attendance Due. A contract to pay attendance dues is a condition of enrolment at a Catholic school and is required by law.

Attendance Dues are used to pay for some of the building work done at CSBL schools, other building related costs, insurance on school buildings and to repay loans. These loans have been incurred to provide some of the school facilites for this generation of students. To see how Attendance Dues are used click here.
