Parents/caregivers have a legal obligation to pay Attendance Dues as a condition of enrolment at school.
However, there will always be some parents/caregivers whose circumstances are such that they are unable to pay Attendance Dues in full but there is relief available for them. We encourage them to talk to their Parish Priest, Dues Committee or College Principal.
Parish Priests, Dues Committees and College Principals have been authorised to approve rebates if paying the full Attendance Dues will result in genuine and undue hardship on the family.
Rebates may be granted in the following circumstances:
- loss of income/redundancy
- death of the breadwinner
- extended unemployment
- family reasons
- hardship
Please note: CSBL staff do not have the authority to approve rebates, but members of the Dues team can give you the name of the person you should contact.
