The Private Schools Conditional Integration Act, 1975, section 36 allows Proprietors to set and collect Attendance Dues. This makes it a legal obligation for parents/caregivers to pay Attendance Dues.
Attendance Dues for students attending Catholic integrated schools in the Archdiocese of Wellington and Diocese of Palmerston North are set by CSBL on behalf of Proprietors and require approval by the Minister of Education. They are reviewed annually.
Once collected, Attendance Dues become part of a pool of funding that is used to provide the best possible facilities for students. Photographs of completed work can be seen in our Photo Gallery, and in issues of Boardtalk
